Environmental responsibility is an essential part of our roasting process. The coffee roaster we use, the Loring S7 Nighthawk, treats smoke internally before release, ensuring that what exits the roastery is clean air and water vapor rather than pollutants. This approach allows us to operate with care for both our surroundings and the wider environment.
We believe every cup tells a story. All our coffees are fully traceable, with transparent information about origin and producers. We believe quality coffee should be built on respect, not extraction, and that every cup should reflect the work of everyone involved along the supply chain, from farmer to roaster to you.
The roaster behind J28 Coffee, Jia-Rong Chen, has spent more than 13 years exploring coffee and brings over five years of dedicated coffee roasting experience. Her journey began with hands-on coffee training at high-end hotels and restaurants in Taiwan, followed by professional development recognized by the Specialty Coffee Association. Her knowledge, attention, and care shape every batch we craft.
