Choose your preferred style espresso or filter and we curate the selection for you.
Roast Style
Both our Espresso and Filter coffees are specialty coffee. The main difference is the roast style.
Espresso
Our Espresso coffees are generally roasted around a Swedish mellanrost style. They are roasted noticeably darker than our Filter coffees, with more body and sweetness, but we do not roast them extremely dark.
If you prefer a medium to medium-dark roast, choose Espresso.
Filter
Our Filter coffees are generally light to medium-light roasted. This brings out more fruit, acidity, sweetness and floral notes. Some coffees can be quite delicate and tea-like in the cup.
Some coffees are available in both Espresso and Filter, while others are roasted only in one style. The same coffee can taste quite different depending on the roast.
Filter coffees can sometimes be slightly more expensive than Espresso coffees, as we may select coffees with a higher cost or more distinctive characteristics for the Filter range. Prices vary from coffee to coffee.
Prefer a darker roast but still want Filter coffee?
Choose Filter and leave a note at checkout saying “darker roast”. You can also email us after placing your order if you forget to leave a note. We’ll take your preference into account for your future coffees.
Monthly Coffee Subscription
Our monthly coffee subscription is available from 2 to 7 bags.
Each coffee is supplied in pairs.
The coffees are selected by us each month and may include coffees from our current menu, as well as coffees that have not yet been released.
